I read that article before Nathan tweeted it and had to stop reading it because it was a load of rubbish. Then Nathan tweeted about it and I read it again… and I can just agree with everything that you said.
Sometimes it makes me so sad that Nathan gets ALL the praise for the show. I love Nathan to bits and he deserves all the awards for his performance (especially after last night’s episode). But look at how Stana’s acting has evolved throughout these four years. And how amazing she was in this last season. People need to remember that she is as much part of the show as Nathan is because this show is about these two characters falling in love/being in love. And they are both part of why I fell in love with this show in the first place.
Just watch their answers for what their favourite episodes are - Stana saying that she does not have one but that she rather has favourite scenes where the characters move forward in their development. I think that is proof enough of how amazing Stana is at what she does. She is completely invested. (I am not saying that Nathan is not but most of the time I have the feeling that Stana is more ‘into it’ than Nathan is).
