Alright so, can we talk about this scene? There is so much said and yet nothing actually stated. To me, this is the exact moment, since Mulder comes back from his death and abduction, where he realizes that Scully’s baby is indeed his. All because of Langley’s slip. And you can see how Mulder suddenly becomes confused and asks Scully with his eyes for an answer, while she just glances him a ‘we’ll talk about this later’ look. We don’t even get to see an intimate talk between Mulder and Scully after this, but it is obviously stated from Mulder’s drastic change of mood from before this episode to now, that he has found that purpose he thought he’d after he had been abducted and returned.
